Our mission is to provide a comprehensive K-12 scholarship based education for the children in Grand-Bois, Haiti in a boarding school where children can focus on learning without facing the daily challenges of life in Haiti.

HSE will operate a co-educational boarding school to address the lack of educational opportunities facing Haiti. In rural areas of Haiti, and specifically Grand-Bois, there are many barriers to obtaining an education. The boarding school model will remove some of these barriers by providing a nurturing environment and program that is conducive to learning.

Grand-Bois lacks basic infrastructure, such as clean water, power, transportation, sewage systems, and housing. HSE will provide housing for students, faculty, staff, and administrators. By providing these basic necessities, the boarding school will attract qualified teachers and administrators.
